So, just how does a contractor include the “Wow Factor” in their work? I started thinking about this and it made me chuckle. In contracting, it’s pretty easy to wow people:
- Return phone calls
- Show up to appointments on time
- Call if you’re running late
- Get projects done when agreed upon for the price agreed upon
- Be honest
Pretty amazing, huh? The above items are what I’d call the bare-bones basics of running a business. It has nothing to do with the quality of my work, but for some reason it’s unusual for a contractor to actually act like a professional!!
